Jalandhar: Famous Kabaddi player Sandeep Nangal Ambia was shot dead on Monday evening at a Kabaddi tournament in Mallian Khurd village in the Nakodar district of Jalandhar, Punjab.
Sandeep began participating in the tournament, revealing that when five and four attackers arrived in the car, some people took selfies with him. Two of them shot in the air which scared people, and the other two shot and fled the kabaddi player. Another young man suffered a gunshot wound on his leg, according to sources.
Police are trying to track down the murderer and are sounding an alarm. Sandeep was a famous kabaddi player and belonged to the village of Nangal Ambia near Shahkot.
